A department, run by the people in it.
NexGen is the student community of the Department of Computer Science and Application at Gour Mahavidyalaya, Malda. Since 2014, it has been the part of the department that runs itself.
The timetable ends at 5. The community doesn't.
NexGen started as a handful of students who wanted somewhere to keep going after class. It grew into the department's club system: CypherCC for the code, Cultural for the stage, Sports for the field. The projects built here win contests. The festivals run here fill the quad. The teams fielded here take the campus league every other year.
None of it is run by staff. All of it is run by students, on rotation, with the same rule from day one: if you show up, you belong.
